Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire (MKOB)
This programme aims to enhance capacity and drive efficiency, by working in collaboration across Milton Keynes Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire within local government and the broader public sector.
What did we set out to achieve?
- Improve value for money through a collaborative approach to efficiency savings, economies of scale and better policy making
- Increase resilience and capacity to deliver and manage change across the MKOB area
- Provide a central point of contact for improvement and efficiency support in the MKOB area
- Investigate means of tapping into regionally held funds for the benefit of MKOB
- Share best practice across the sub-region
- Ensure that MKOB authorities are well placed to meet the likely requirements of CSR10
- Provide opportunities to network more widely across the sub-region on shared priority areas

Community EngagementThe aim of this project is to provide an opportunity for communities to engage with and get involved in the decisions that affect them. We hope that this involvement will empower communities resulting in greater cohesion. We also hope to build respect and neighbourliness by working together with the different people and cultures within Buckinghamshire. |
