This project aims to improve the service we deliver through better understanding our customers and their needs.
What did we set out to achieve?
- To embed a customer-centric approach
- Use customer insight techniques to improve service design and delivery of priority outcomes within the Hampshire and Isle of Wight authorities
What have we achieved so far?
- Raised awareness with senior officers and members of the value of understanding our customers better
- Collaboratively procured Experian data and consultancy for all the Hampshire and Isle of Wight authorities, with a significant saving on the standard price
- With Experian, carried out a first pass customer segmentation, using common classification across Hampshire
- Produced a simple profiling tool allowing users to easily compare and use data at ward level
