Berkshire Performance Improvement Initiative
This project is an ambitious attempt to link the training of a cohort of officers and members with the use of real-time benchmarking measurement tools and the development of appropriate strategies, targets and measurement techniques in emerging Local Area Agreements, Multi Area Agreements and Local Strategic Partnerships.
What did we set out to achieve?
- Deliver better capacity for performance improvement
- Deliver specific benefit from improvement support projects as delivered
What have we achieved so far?
- Delivered two editions of the training programme
- Begun work on five improvement support projects, with eleven in total planned for 2009/10
- Making use of the Performance Improvement Benchmarking club database to complete analysis
- Completed the first improvement support project, resulting in:
- Improved consistency of access to services via all access channels
- Savings to offset the cost of CRM implementation
- A positive contribution to targets for improved customer satisfaction
